Naval Mechanical Engineer - Technical Referent

Responsibilities

• Guarantee technical mastery of services and ensure the quality of studies performed
• Propose solutions adapted to functional, architectural, and industrial needs while respecting regulatory standards
• Ensure the feasibility of defined solutions and justify them in contractual deliverables
• Manage team needs and coordinate front and back office activities
• Foster employee skill development through structured technical support
• Develop and formalize methods and best practices to improve internal processes
• Integrate technical documentation into Naval Group SA's document management systems

Requirements

• Engineering degree with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical structure design
• Experience in the naval sector (tugs, frigates, submarines, etc.) is ideal
• Proficiency in 3D design and modeling of naval structures
• Expertise in CAD/PLM tools, preferably CATIA V6 and 3Dx
• Deep knowledge of structural materials and technologies (profiles, panels, welded and bolted assemblies)
• Mastery of naval sector regulations and standards
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to travel for professional meetings and events
