Natural Gas Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule natural gas production, purchases, demand centers, sales, and storage across multiple pipeline systems to ensure timely flow.
• Work cross-functionally with front and back office teams to identify efficiencies across Risk, Analytics, Trading, and Accounting.
• Track, manage, and reconcile production and transportation imbalances to minimize financial exposure.
• Liaise with Volume Accounting to reconcile historical discrepancies and portfolio balances for month-end close.
• Communicate supply disruptions, including planned outages, unplanned maintenance, and weather events.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including availability for after-hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience (5+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of natural gas scheduling on intrastate, interstate, and gathering EBB systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to comprehend and dissect commercial contracts, pipeline tariffs, and transportation agreements.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a commercial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with Allegro ETRM.
• Experience scheduling production assets and working directly with field personnel and plant representatives.
• Understanding of basic P&L concepts.
