About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute pipeline nominations and confirmations across intrastate and interstate pipelines to ensure accurate gas flow.
  • Maximize transportation contracts and storage transactions to support trading and operational goals.
  • Monitor and manage daily imbalances to ensure compliance with operational balancing agreements (OBAs).
  • Maintain and update internal systems, such as Endur, with accurate volume data and trade flows.
  • Track physical inventory positions and reconcile scheduled versus actual volumes.
  • Communicate with pipeline operators, traders, and third-party companies to manage logistics and optimize earnings.
  • Monitor pipeline electronic bulletin boards (EBBs) to track curtailments and relay critical information to trading teams.
  • Prepare accurate and timely accounting for month-end close processes.
  • Support digital initiatives and process improvements to optimize operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of natural gas scheduling experience, or 3+ years of experience in pipeline scheduling or logistics within Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream operations.
  • Proficiency with Endur (energy trading and risk management program) or similar trade capture systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with gas scheduling systems and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBBs) of major pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, organizing, and planning skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to provide on-call availability for evening, weekend, and holiday scheduling requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools.
  • Digital mindset and innovative thinker.
