Native English Localization Specialist

Responsibilities

• Hands-on editing and proofreading of translated content from human, machine, and AI sources
• Performing post-editing and quality review on AI-translated content
• Creating and maintaining glossaries and style guides for human and AI workflows
• Planning and executing linguistic QA tasks using established metrics
• Partnering with translators and external vendors to ensure consistency and tone
• Providing linguistic feedback to improve AI translation models and prompts
• Establishing and improving guidelines to enhance translation quality

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in localization as a linguist, editor, or copywriter
• Native-level English proficiency
• Experience reviewing game translation content
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances in source and target languages
• Openness to working with AI-assisted translation workflows
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for video games and localization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using CAT tools such as SDL Trados or MemoQ
• Hands-on experience in game localization
• Experience with MTPE or AI-assisted translation review
• Korean proficiency at TOPIK Level 5 or above
