About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the SA warehouse and oversee the performance of interstate 3PL operations
- Develop, plan, and coordinate warehouse operations and manage Warehouse Management System (WMS) software
- Ensure 3PL providers operate at peak efficiency by establishing mutual processes and resolving variances
- Supervise, organize, and train warehouse employees to meet operational goals and ensure compliance with safety and SOPs
- Oversee team performance, engagement, and morale through effective communication and continuous improvement
- Manage outbound freight to ensure company targets and customer requirements are met
- Identify and test system improvements across various software platforms and the Quality Management System (QMS)
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management and people management
- Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and SAP WMS
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience using CRM systems
- Demonstrated knowledge in IT and WMS platforms
- Valid forklift license
