National Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of payroll services across Linfox’s Australian operations
• Manage the day-to-day payroll function across multiple business units, ensuring accurate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
• Ensure full compliance with Federal and State legislation, including STP, taxation, and superannuation
• Oversee payroll reconciliations, statutory reporting, and audit readiness
• Partner with Finance, HR, Industrial Relations, and IT stakeholders to align payroll strategy
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process simplification
• Manage escalations and resolve complex payroll issues

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience leading payroll functions within large, complex organisations
• Strong working knowledge of SAP payroll systems and processes
• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing payroll teams
• Deep understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and reconciliation capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships
