Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on performance, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Lead workplace investigations and facilitate corrective outcomes
- Guide managers through progressive discipline and termination planning
- Own full-cycle recruitment for designated roles
- Support individualized development planning and succession insights
- Coordinate annual employee engagement surveys and local recognition programs
- Manage HRIS transactions, data integrity, and onboarding/offboarding tasks
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support complex leave and accommodation administration (FMLA, ADA)
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong track record in employee relations and workplace investigations
- Ability to be both strategic and hands-on with HR administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in unionized environments is an asset
- Post-secondary education in HR or HR certification is a plus
