About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual sales plans for PPE with Grainger’s National and Government Accounts
- Identify competitive PPE conversion opportunities and build programs to support Jobsite Solutions
- Coordinate with product and channel management to maximize account potential and product offerings
- Collaborate on full-year marketing and promotional campaigns aligned with customer goals and company metrics
- Utilize CRM to track field sales initiatives, sales tracking, and value-added services
- Create a National Strategy in partnership with Grainger’s Safety Specialist Team
- Ensure accurate long-term forecasting and build new product buy plans
- Manage all PPE customization opportunities, orders, and training programs for the Grainger sales team
- Manage expenses and account activity to meet or exceed profit plans
Requirements
- 7+ years of successful sales or marketing experience in the industrial channel with national distributors
- Direct experience selling and managing the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) category
- Proven track record of growing profitable sales
- University Degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong analytical, organizational, forecasting, and planning skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a valid passport
- Ability to travel as required
