About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver sales in accordance with revenue budgets and forecasts for assigned customer portfolio
- Prospect new customers to expand portfolio and increase market share
- Drive customer product portfolios with focus on innovation, sustainability, and profitability
- Maintain and develop business with existing customers and convert new prospects
- Map individual customers and build multi-level contacts
- Plan and execute customer activities including visits, trials, and seminars
- Maintain customer accounts in Salesforce
- Develop customer plans in collaboration with management
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical career
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in food or beverage ingredients
- Knowledge of selling colors or applications experience is advantageous
- Ability to drive the sales process and manage complex issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented approach
