About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales in accordance with revenue budgets and forecasts for assigned customer portfolio
  • Prospect new customers to expand portfolio and increase market share
  • Drive customer product portfolios with focus on innovation, sustainability, and profitability
  • Maintain and develop business with existing customers and convert new prospects
  • Map individual customers and build multi-level contacts
  • Plan and execute customer activities including visits, trials, and seminars
  • Maintain customer accounts in Salesforce
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product trends
  • Provide timely reports and forecasts to management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical career
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in food or beverage ingredients
  • Knowledge of selling colors and/or applications experience is advantageous
  • Ability to drive the sales process
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex issues and work in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Salesforce
