About the role

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed corporate sales objectives for the Boxer account.
  • Develop and implement annual Customer Joint Business Plans to drive profitable growth.
  • Manage the Account P&L, including disciplined G2N management and ROI optimization of promotional activities.
  • Grow brands ahead of category competition through effective key account development and innovation launches.
  • Maintain strong strategic relationships with customers and ensure effective national distribution and stock cover.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and market share data to generate actionable growth plans.
  • Collaborate with the Channel Head to identify brand investment priorities and maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in national-level Key Account Management, Sales, or Customer Management/Trade Marketing.
  • Strong commercial understanding and direct experience working with Retail customers.
  • Proven expertise in the South African FMCG trading environment.
  • Advanced analytical, numeracy, and financial skills, including pricing and margin analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Net Revenue Management, including Trade Investment and Promotional Management.
  • Strong people management and professional selling skills.
  • Ability to manage volatile markets and fluctuating currency environments.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive commercial decisions.
