Nail Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard professional nail services, including gel manicures, adhering to company protocols.
• Offer detailed home care recommendations and prescriptions to guests after each service.
• Maintain workstation setup, cleanliness, and restocking according to spa standards.
• Promote spa treatments, retail products, packages, and seasonal promotions to drive revenue.
• Uphold universal health care protocols and strict sanitation and sterilization standards.
• Meet established revenue and guest retention goals for the nail department.
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings, trainings, and workshops.

Requirements

• Valid state license to perform services as a nail technician.
• Training from an accredited or approved nail school.
• Previous experience as a licensed nail technician.
• 12 to 18 months of experience in a high-end resort or urban day spa is preferred.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests.
• Computer literacy and basic administrative knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled in nail art.
• Deep understanding of body anatomy and the contraindications of specific nail techniques.
