Nail Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nail services, including gel manicures, adhering to company protocols and high standards.
• Create a relaxing environment for guests to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
• Provide detailed home care prescriptions and product recommendations to guests after each service.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness, sanitation, and sterilization in accordance with state laws and spa policies.
• Promote spa treatments, retail products, and seasonal promotions to meet revenue goals.
• Perform necessary prep work, including cleaning and restocking stations.
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings, trainings, and workshops.

Requirements

• Must possess an applicable state license to perform nail services.
• Completion of training from an accredited or approved nail school.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and coworkers.
• Computer literacy for administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 to 18 months of experience working in a high-end resort or urban day spa environment.
• Proficiency in nail art.
• Thorough understanding of body anatomy and the contraindications of specific nail techniques.
