About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the full project life cycle for major operational initiatives, from initiation through deployment.
- Define project scope, objectives, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans and track progress using various project management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including engineering, production, supply chain, and quality assurance.
- Implement change management strategies and provide coaching to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Assess project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive status reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, engineering, or a comparable field.
- 5-7 years of project management experience in a corporate environment, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects involving manufacturing, supply chain, or facilities.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, or Trello.
- Must be a US citizen or US permanent resident.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience managing facility expansions, relocations, or manufacturing footprint changes.
