MySQL DBA

Responsibilities

• Install and configure MySQL on Linux and Windows
• Manage MySQL replication (Master-Master and Master-Slave)
• Set up MySQL clustering, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Perform MySQL database upgrades
• Manage MySQL backup and recovery processes
• Automate day-to-day tasks using Unix shell scripting
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
• Prepare SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational manuals
• Provide recommendations for service improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in MySQL Community and Enterprise Database
• Strong knowledge of MySQL architecture and performance tuning
• Proficiency in MySQL replication and clustering
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments
• Ability to automate tasks with Unix shell scripting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and plan work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science
• Associate level Cloud certifications from a major CSP
• Experience in gathering asset information and creating architecture diagrams
