Myotherapist - Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues to treat medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance
• Consult with healthcare professionals regarding client care
• Prioritize patient needs, including answering questions and utilizing massage modalities or devices
• Oversee organizing, planning, and prioritization of workflow within the Massage Department
• Maintain patient rooms and common areas, including cleaning and stocking
• Coordinate inventory of items needed for assigned tasks
• Communicate appropriately with patients, visitors, and staff
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to the department supervisor

Requirements

• Massage Therapist License issued by TDLR in current status
• High school Diploma or GED
• Experience in customer service related to direct patient care in high-volume, high-stress environments
• Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
• Understanding of clinical care and privacy
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Flexibility to meet department scheduling demands
