Music Therapy Supervisor/Visiting Lecturer

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for 2 to 20 hours per week depending on the specific course or contract.
• Design and conduct educational programs and courses of instruction in accordance with University policies.
• Supervise student fieldwork and provide academic advising on student progress.
• Participate in the planning, review, and quality improvement of educational programs and courses of study.
• Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through creative activity, research, or open inquiry.
• Assist in the evaluation of program effectiveness and make recommendations regarding the educational mission and policies.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in music therapy or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience (or equivalent part-time work).
• For classroom teaching roles: A Master's degree in the field of specialization and evidence of scholarly or artistic achievements.
• Candidates without a Master's degree must demonstrate equivalent educational or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in college-level instruction or academic settings.
