About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction for 2 to 20 hours per week depending on the specific course or contract.
- Design and conduct educational programs and courses of instruction in accordance with University policies.
- Supervise student fieldwork and provide academic advising on student progress.
- Participate in the planning, review, and quality improvement of educational programs and courses of study.
- Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through creative activity, research, or open inquiry.
- Assist in the evaluation of program effectiveness and make recommendations regarding the educational mission and policies.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in music therapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience (or equivalent part-time work).
- For classroom teaching roles: A Master's degree in the field of specialization and evidence of scholarly or artistic achievements.
- Candidates without a Master's degree must demonstrate equivalent educational or professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in college-level instruction or academic settings.
