Responsibilities

• Build a classroom culture in which scholars develop a love for music
• Collaborate with music teachers across the network to build a superb musical program
• Produce top notch concerts for scholars to showcase their music skills
• Inspire a love for music through rigorous lessons centered on creating, performing, and responding to artistic works
• Engage in training and professional development related to instruction and content

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or pending completion)
• Track record of engaging students in music through creating and performing
• Teaching experience using music materials and resources to propel learning
• Experience working with a group of children
• Leadership experience in a club, team, or organizational setting
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities
