Music Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music instruction on the Stockton campus
• Teach theory and musicianship courses
• Maintain an active studio throughout the year
• Support a diverse student body through inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance
• One year of teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of documented teaching experience
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
• Ability to integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge into instruction
