Music Hall Bartender

Responsibilities

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guests in a high-volume music hall atmosphere
• Interact with guests in a friendly demeanor to cultivate repeat business
• Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items to guests
• Prioritize and organize drink orders to ensure prompt delivery
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards, including recording equipment failures or hazards
• Manage guest checks and process payments using POS terminals
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by requesting proper identification and monitoring guest intoxication levels
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to company policy

Requirements

• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
• Experience with cash handling
• Ability to pass a timed mixology drill and a pour test
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including late hours and special events
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud, and high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of work experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience working in a live music environment
• Experience recognizing valid identification
