Music Adjunct

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to undergraduate students in Music Education, Music Performance, and Music Ministries degree programs.
• Teach courses as assigned by the Dean, including potential group class voice instruction.
• Prepare syllabi, select textbooks, and oversee quality educational experiences for students.
• Manage student evaluations, scores, and final grades via the learning management system.
• Integrate biblical principles and Assemblies of God doctrine into the curriculum.
• Maintain availability for student consultations (30 minutes per week per course).
• Engage in instructional and spiritual formation activities with students and staff.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Music.
• Established career as a professional solo singer of classical repertoire.
• Proven track record of success as a vocal teacher.
• Proficiency in Italian, German, and French diction.
• Strong knowledge of vocal literature and vocal pedagogy.
• Proficient piano skills.
• A faith, service, and lifestyle that meets University expectations and doctrinal standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a higher education setting.
• Ability to work harmoniously within a diverse academic and faith-based community.
