About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate visitor experiences of the collection and special exhibitions
- Lead tours and learning experiences designed for diverse visitor needs
- Engage guests through hands-on inquiry learning using objects in carts
- Research object and historic context to support interpretation
- Document and evaluate designed experiences with visitors
- Answer visitor questions regarding the collection, The Studio, and amenities
- Coordinate visitor experience logistics for school groups and other visits
- Support the Museum’s commitment to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion
Requirements
- Experience working with the public
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
- Ability to organize and synthesize complex information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to walk around the museum and push carts
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in foreign languages
