Murex Techno-Functional BA

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, and operational requirements for Murex projects and sustainment activities
• Analyze current-state workflows, system usage, and data flows to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities
• Facilitate workshops with business, operations, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders to validate requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and high-level technical specifications aligned with Murex capabilities
• Support target-state design by documenting processes, dependencies, integrations, and business impacts
• Contribute to gap analysis and the development of implementation roadmaps for future-state operating models

Requirements

• 6-9 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in a Techno-Functional capacity
• Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Analyst specifically within Murex
• Strong understanding of capital markets workflows, including front-office, operations, risk, finance, and trade lifecycles
• Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements from multiple stakeholder groups
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments
• Working knowledge of Murex modules, interfaces, data flows, and configurations
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Murex implementation, upgrade, transformation, or Target Operating Model (TOM) initiatives
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Understanding of Murex support models (KTLO/BAU), release management, and production support processes
• Experience working across vendor, business, and technology teams in complex financial services environments
