Murex Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and development of the Murex platform
• Design and oversee MxML, Mx3 configuration, and integrations with TMS, payment hubs, and core banking systems
• Optimize real-time and EOD batch processing, automation, and performance
• Drive technical delivery across Front-to-Back-to-Risk (IRD, FXMM, Fixed Income, Commodities)
• Implement DevOps, Onyx/MxTest, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Manage environments, releases, and deployment processes
• Lead and mentor Murex developers and engineers
• Establish engineering standards and conduct code reviews
• Lead resolution of critical production issues and support Oracle/Sybase, UNIX/Linux, and Shell/Perl scripting

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of hands-on Murex MX3 experience
• Strong expertise in MxML Exchange, Datamart, Workflows, and Market Data (MDCS)
• Experience with Oracle/SQL Server/Sybase, UNIX/Linux, Shell scripting, Kafka, automation, and batch architecture
• 3+ years in a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Platform Architect role
• Experience in Agile, PMO, and financial institutions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Murex certifications
• Middle East/KSA banking experience
