Murex Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level production system support for Murex 3.1
• Work on Murex system implementation, configuration, and development, including datamart, MXML pre-trade/post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS
• Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements
• Analyze and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting
• Perform technical reviews of production changes and development/testing of database and infrastructure changes
• Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches
• Debug and enhance bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation
• Act as an intermediary between business users (front, middle, back office, finance, risk) and vendors to diagnose and resolve critical issues

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity
• Strong technical capability
• Solid understanding of datamart, MXML, or technical infrastructure
• English proficiency at C1 Advanced level

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Control-M
• Experience with workflow and Markitwire
• Experience dealing with pricing, risk, PnL, simulation, and trade queries
• Strong support mindset and communication skills
