Murex Senior Finance Consultant

Responsibilities

• Participate in discussions with stakeholders across Group Finance, Accounting Reconciliation, and Treasury Operations to define accounting requirements.
• Analyze end-to-end product lifecycles and economic events across various asset classes to ensure comprehensive accounting coverage.
• Prepare Technical and Functional Specification documents for the Murex Accounting module.
• Perform first-level validation (SIT) on Murex accounting setups against provided accounting templates.
• Deliver accounting setups for UAT, support users with queries, and implement fixes based on UAT observations.
• Configure and deploy accounting setups across various environments, including production, and provide post go-live support.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of Murex Back-Office experience with significant exposure to the accounting module.
• Deep understanding of Murex MX3 accounting rules and setup processes.
• Strong knowledge of the Murex-MX3 DataModel.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Trade Life Cycle.
• Domain expertise in accounting for multiple asset classes, including FXD, IRD, EQD, and CRD.
• Proven experience in creating test cases for SIT and UAT.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Murex upgrade projects, including report development and reconciliation.
• Understanding of IFRS or GAAP accounting standards.
