Murex Consultant

Responsibilities

• Resolve daily Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) issues regarding functional, valuation, and pricing aspects
• Develop ERM business requirements based on project needs and specific workstreams
• Manage product validation and management for IRD, CRD, EQD, and FXD
• Liaise with technical teams to resolve ERM-related issues and implement necessary enhancements
• Support front-office users by resolving daily issues related to ERM, VaR, P&L, and Market Data
• Perform testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
• Develop test cases to troubleshoot the system and document defective use cases for developers
• Contribute to implementation and upgrade projects throughout the scoping, design, build, and validation phases

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Murex ERM, VaR, and Risk functionalities/modules
• 2-3 years of experience in financial markets and products
• 1+ years of experience in financial markets or IT business analysis
• Hands-on technical skills in SQL, XML, Unix, and Scripting
• Proven experience with MX.3 ERM modules such as MLC, XVA, or MRB
• Strong analytical, pricing, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, or an equivalent field
• Experience with Murex implementations and upgrades
• Knowledge of trade life cycle management and market data management
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands
