Murex Configuration and Release Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Murex environment management and oversee day-to-day configuration activities
• Review configuration, release controls, and deployments to ensure stability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to environment instability, bottlenecks, and performance
• Manage EOD batch monitoring and incident management, particularly during time-sensitive month-end closings
• Analyze and manage incidents, problems, and requests in close collaboration with the project team
• Assist customers with the setup of launchers, wrapper scripts, load balancing, and launcher allocations
• Recommend and implement automation for testing and release processes
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for applications and processes on the team Wiki

Requirements

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in Configuration and Environment Management
• Proven leadership experience specifically in Murex environment management
• Proficiency with UNIX, SQL, and JAMS (or similar Job Scheduling tools)
• Strong expertise in Shell scripting
• Experience with modern Continuous Integration (CI) processes and toolchains
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency (C2 level)

Preferred Qualifications

• DevOps experience
• Proficiency in XML
• Experience with Java or other scripting languages
