Murex Architecture & Integration Manager

Responsibilities

• Assess current Murex architecture, integration landscape, and operating models to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Define and advise on the target operating model (TOM) for Murex, covering integration, data, and end-to-end trade lifecycles
• Provide strategic guidance on MX.3 integration capabilities including MxML, APIs, Connectivity 2.0, Datamart, and market interfaces
• Lead architecture design for scalable and resilient upstream and downstream integrations
• Establish integration standards, patterns, and governance across the ecosystem using real-time, batch, APIs, and messaging
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural roadmaps
• Support transformation initiatives such as version upgrades, cloud readiness, and platform modernization
• Oversee integration delivery quality through design reviews, testing strategies (SIT/UAT), and release governance

Requirements

• 7-12 years of overall Murex experience with a strong focus on integration and architecture
• Hands-on expertise across the MX.3 stack, including trade interfaces, market data, Datamart, reporting, and EOD processes
• Solid experience with MxML (Exchange/Workflows) and Murex integration frameworks and APIs
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and messaging technologies such as MQ or Kafka
• Proven ability to design and bootstrap scalable technical solutions to solve complex business problems
• Familiarity with FX and derivatives business processes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across Trading, Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and XML
• Experience with Java or other scripting languages
• Exposure to workflow orchestration and scheduler-driven processes
