About the role

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, inspect, test, transport, and maintain U.S. Air Force (USAF) munitions and material handling equipment (MMHE).
  • Operate the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS) and perform required actions in the "Receiver" role.
  • Enforce all USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH, and security standards.
  • Conduct warehouse inventories, correct discrepancies, and resolve serviceability or accountability issues.
  • Prepare and configure munitions shipments for air, sea, and surface transportation.
  • Perform maintenance on light vehicles and handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Provide clear instructions to crew members and prepare general and explosives safety briefings.
  • Respond to emergencies and take necessary control and timely response actions.

Requirements

  • Formal USAF Munitions Systems training or US Service equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of USAF Supply and Tech Order systems or US service equivalent.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
  • Proficiency in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a host nation driver's license.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Normal color perception and depth of vision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of experience with USAF Military Munitions.
  • Associate's Degree in Munitions Management.
