Munitions Technician

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, inspect, test, transport, and maintain U.S. Air Force munitions and material handling equipment
• Operate Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS) and perform required actions in the "Receiver" role
• Enforce USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH, and security standards
• Conduct warehouse inventories, correct discrepancies, and resolve serviceability issues
• Prepare and configure munitions shipments for air, sea, and surface transportation
• Perform maintenance on light vehicles and handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Provide clear instructions to assigned crew members in Crew Chief operations
• Prepare and deliver general and explosives safety briefings

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completed formal USAF Munitions Systems training or US Service equivalent
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Basic knowledge of USAF Supply and Tech Order systems or US service equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and Windows Operating Systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a host nation driver's license
• Physical capability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience with USAF Military Munitions
• Associate's Degree in Munitions Management
