Munitions Handler

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties including movement, inspection, loading, and packaging of ordnance items
• Execute destruction and demilitarization of ammunition and explosive components
• Operate automated systems and mobile equipment such as material handling equipment (MHE) and vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of munitions accountability and report discrepancies
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance procedures and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and secure work area, including storage facilities and magazines

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Computer literacy in common software applications
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs
• Willingness to work overtime, varying hours, or rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating lifting devices, hoists, or overhead cranes
• Experience working in a hazardous materials environment
• Experience with unexploded ordnance
• Experience in a production or work management atmosphere
