Multiskilled Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, reactive, and corrective mechanical and electrical maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Execute effective problem solving and electrical/mechanical fault diagnosis.
• Follow strict safe working procedures within a top-tier COMAH site.
• Use CMMS to interact with maintenance data and provide detailed reports.
• Utilize technical drawings, operator manuals, schematic drawings, and P&IDs for maintenance tasks.
• Conduct inspections, testing, adjustments, and monitoring to maintain plant efficiency.

Requirements

• Successfully completed electrical apprenticeship.
• Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (BTEC ONC/HNC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
• City & Guilds Electrical Installation Parts 1 & 2.
• 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics, OEM manuals, and P&IDs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection & Testing (BS2391).
• EX 01-04 training.
• Experience with relay logic, PLCs, robotic, and automation systems.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Valid MEWP licence.
