Multimedia Journalist

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, and edit video news stories for use across multiple media outlets
• Write and post content for various platforms, including websites and mobile products
• Conduct interviews, gather information, and produce daily assigned stories
• Perform live "walk-and-talk" shots and utilize social media to engage viewers
• Establish and maintain strong news contacts within the community
• Maintain deep familiarity with local, national, and international news issues

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of newsroom experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Fluency in Spanish (reading and writing)
• Ability to accurately interpret and translate from English to Spanish
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to 8 hours
