Multifamily Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site
• Run and maintain weekly subcontractor meetings
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and local building codes
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of all tasks
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify risks
• Provide guidance and support to construction teams and resolve conflicts
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to review and adjust project plans
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, reports, and change orders
• Oversee budgeting and cost control measures
• Implement safety and quality guidelines, including daily site safety walks and weekly tailgate meetings

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
• Multifamily construction experience required
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes and best practices
• Proficiency in ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, P6 Primavera, Excel, and Word
• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with budgeting and cost control principles

• Experience with construction estimating software
