About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist and teach energetic and motivating classes to connect and challenge children
- Help children accomplish motor development goals and inspire healthy habits
- Provide individual and group attention to children
- Show up to class on time and physically/mentally prepared
- Teach basic fundamentals of 10 different sports following specific curricula
Requirements
- Early Education Credits
- Ability and willingness to travel to class locations
- Prior experience working with children (preschool, camp counselor, substitute teacher, etc.) preferred
- Background in fitness, athletics, dance, or kinesiology preferred
- Must be fun, energetic, patient, and attentive
- Vaccination recommended (subject to legal exemptions)
