Multi-Skilled Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Identify and resolve potential issues before they cause failures
• Respond rapidly to machinery breakdowns and perform repairs
• Carry out machine adjustments, size changes, and machine settings
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and safety standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records including PPM schedules and shift reporting
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
• Participate in project work to improve equipment standards

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (electrical bias preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery (Baggers, Multi-heads, conveyors)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to train and develop colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a food or manufacturing environment
• Experience with food packaging equipment
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Experience with pneumatics, horizontal flow packers, or vertical form fill baggers
