Responsibilities
- General mechanical/electrical engineering and routine maintenance tasks
- Attend to and rectify factory machinery breakdowns using best practice for health, safety, and hygiene
- Perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime and availability
- Follow and improve upon monthly PPM schedules
- Maintain accurate records for all activity and spares used or requested
- Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard
Requirements
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent qualification
- Capability to quickly identify and resolve mechanical and/or electrical faults
- Effective communication and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting electrical control panels
- Capability of working on inverters and PLC systems
- Experience carrying out effective RCAs and developing PPMs
- Experience working within FMCG or fresh food manufacturing
