About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support tamariki in fun, safe activities across multiple programme sites
- Maintain tidy, clean, and welcoming spaces for children
- Support the Programme Manager to deliver smooth, engaging sessions
- Travel between different programme locations within the allocated area as rostered
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Identify and escalate concerns around behaviour, wellbeing, or safety
Requirements
- Right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
- Reliable transportation to travel between sKids sites in Riverhead and West Auckland
- Enthusiasm for working with children (babysitting, coaching, or volunteering experience counts)
- Reliable, energetic, and available from 2:30pm on weekdays
