MuleSoft Architect

Responsibilities

• Design target-state, API-led platforms including system, process, and experience layers
• Set architectural standards and reusable templates for client engagements
• Build and direct AI agents to accelerate delivery processes
• Lead technical discovery and shape solution architecture for client SOWs
• Manage project scope, mitigate risks, and drive milestones to completion
• Implement CI/CD strategies and secure-by-default integration patterns

Requirements

• Expert-level MuleSoft experience with Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform
• Proficiency in DataWeave, CloudHub 2.0, and Runtime Fabric
• Proven experience building with AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or LLM-based assistants
• Background in client-facing consulting or systems integration
• Strong DevOps fundamentals including branch strategy, automated deploys, and security (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS)
• MuleSoft Platform Architect or Integration Architect certification (or equivalent depth)
• US-based and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end presales from discovery to signed SOW
• Documented history of using AI to accelerate delivery gains
• Cloud and networking expertise in AWS or Azure
• Experience with event-driven patterns such as Anypoint MQ or Kafka
• Based in the Raleigh/Triangle area
