Mule Analytics Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Use innovative data analytics and machine learning to identify, prevent, and disrupt money mule activity and financial crime.
• Identify, collect, and extract data from various internal and external sources.
• Perform data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure high quality for analysis.
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
• Design and implement statistical and predictive models to forecast outcomes and identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive innovation and add value through Data Science.
• Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and manage operational effectiveness.
• Lead complex assignments and guide team members through structured projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within fraud, financial crime, AML, credit risk, or other risk analytical functions.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or SAS for data extraction, manipulation, and modeling.
• Degree in a STEM field or a strong mathematical analytics background.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous banking experience with an understanding of customer account and transaction data.
• Understanding of controls, governance, model risk management, and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated environment.
