About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform sampling tasks for copper and molybdenum shipments under ISO 10251 and 12743 standards
- Collect pulp samples from plant samplers
- Execute sample preparation for geology and plant (Cu and Mo) samples following QA/QC protocols
- Ensure proper equipment operation through cleaning, optimization, and operator-level maintenance
- Record QA/QC information including particle size, moisture, weight, and volume
- Manage and report on consumable stocks to supervisors
- Implement and improve environmental, safety, health, and quality management systems
Requirements
- Engineer, Bachelor, or Graduate in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in sample preparation and/or sampling
- Knowledge of physical assay preparation and exploration is preferred
