About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead technical execution and oversight for airborne electrical products, managing cost, schedule, and technical requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- Lead trade studies to determine optimal solutions for complex problems while considering quality, cost, and performance
- Manage team dynamics by capitalizing on individual strengths and mitigating skill gaps
- Communicate task status and strategic plans across multiple teams, programs, and customer leadership
- Partner with program teams to ensure full integration and execution of technical requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with electrical subsystems and/or Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) including development, integration, or test production support
- Experience with analog, digital, and/or mixed-signal circuit design, analysis, or hardware integration
- Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance (required prior to start date)
- U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the design, test, and sell-off of military systems
- Knowledge of hardware testing methodologies and Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
- Experience with FRACAS processes and configuration control boards
- Proficiency with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and circuit simulation tools like PSPICE or System Vision
- Familiarity with printed circuit board fabrication and assembly industry specifications
- Experience managing cost and schedule using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
- Master’s degree in a STEM field or an MBA
