MSK Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality MSK ultrasound examinations to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis
• Work closely with radiologists, physiotherapists, and referring clinicians to support patient treatment plans
• Interpret scan results and produce detailed reports
• Ensure all imaging follows best practices and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment and manage patient safety

Requirements

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography/Sonography or equivalent qualification
• HCPC or SCoR registration (or equivalent)
• Extensive experience in MSK ultrasound scanning
• Proficiency in independent reporting of MSK scans
• Strong understanding of ultrasound safety, protocols, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
