MRO Quality Technician II (Final Inspection)

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft components to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards
• Review documentation to verify compliance with workmanship standards and repair requirements
• Interpret technical data, including engineering drawings, prints, and Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Document product discrepancies and disposition non-conformances according to approved procedures
• Utilize SAP for processing transactions and maintaining organized inspection records
• Use various inspection methods, equipment, and tools to make product acceptance decisions
• Support quality initiatives and assist in the development of new inspection methods and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• At least 18 months of aviation-related practical experience or completion of an FAA-acceptable formal training course
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOMs
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by regulatory standards)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to obtain an FAA Repairman certificate within 6 months of hire
• Familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, and equipment used to determine product airworthiness
• Previous experience using specialized inspection equipment and visual aids for aerospace products
