MRI Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in accordance with departmental standards and scope of practice
• Assess pertinent patient information and prepare/educate patients regarding procedures and expectations
• Complete accurate documentation of patient care and procedures
• Utilize hospital information systems, technology, and equipment operations effectively
• Maintain productivity, adaptability, and timeliness to meet patient care and department needs
• Adhere to department policies, procedures, and modality-specific safety protocols
• Actively engage in departmental meetings, modality meetings, and committee initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT registration
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (or equivalent)
• Licensure and certification by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
