MRI Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care
• Conduct safety screenings and obtain patient consent
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients throughout the imaging process
• Maintain and operate advanced MRI equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with medical professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results
• Train junior staff and participate in clinical audits to uphold practice standards

Requirements

• Radiography degree and postgraduate MRI qualification
• HCPC registration
• Experience managing clinical caseloads and providing high-quality imaging
• Leadership and training experience including clinical audits
• Proficiency in advanced MRI techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
