MRI Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and analyze images
• Provide detailed reports to the medical team
• Work closely with healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Train and mentor junior staff and students
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Manage patient appointments and service delivery
• Provide patient education and support regarding MRI procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MRI imaging
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting MRI scans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
