About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of MRI examinations using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards
  • Assess image quality and manage patient care during procedures
  • Maintain accurate clinical records
  • For Band 8a: supervise junior staff, coordinate workflow, and contribute to service development initiatives

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer
  • Extensive experience in MRI scanning across various clinical areas
  • Proven ability to work with advanced MRI systems and protocols
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety and patient care standards
  • Experience in NHS or equivalent hospital settings
  • For Band 8a: leadership experience and ability to supervise junior staff
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
