MRB/Liaison Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve engineering solutions for aircraft non-conformities during the A220 final assembly process
• Execute intermediate to complex engineering assignments related to primary and secondary aircraft structures
• Conduct research to investigate, re-evaluate, and apply engineering results to solve practical production problems
• Perform MRB (Material Review Board) audits and establish improvements for onsite processes
• Identify and report defects or deficiencies in work and prepare progress reports
• Recommend changes in plans and specifications to suit special manufacturing conditions
• Generate and review technical documentation for approval

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related work experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of related work experience
• Advanced knowledge of metallic and composite aerospace structures
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including engine, fuel, pneumatic, APU, hydraulic, and cabin systems
• Strong understanding of configuration management rules
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and the ability to work with self-direction
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
